Achieving HP Network Automation (HPNA)

The Challenge

A large cable operator client uses HP Network Automation (HPNA) to manage network devices for voice, video, and data services delivery. As the cable operator’s network continued to grow and diversify, additional drivers and policies were required in order for HPNA to communicate with new and specialized devices.

The Solution

pureIntegration utilized network engineers with HPNA experience to work with our client for driver and policy development. Using an agile development methodology, driver results are reviewed with engineering and operations on a weekly basis throughout the development process, enabling feedback to be immediately implemented and reviewed. This enables pureIntegration to provide unique solutions, including customized display of device configuration information in the HPNA platform.

The Measurable Outcome

The cable operator is actively using eleven pureIntegration developed drivers supporting Networking Engineer, Voice, and Video services. These drivers, coupled with the out of the box HPNA drivers, enables the cable operator to more efficiently push changes to approximately 50,000 network devices and audit the configuration of their mission critical networks.
